This is it.

It's been a week since I moved. I haven't really unpacked. I'm living with relatives who have 2 young kids and a rowdy (untrained) dog. I HAVE to drive to do mostly anything here. I don't have a job ... yet.

My "new life" is just full of excitement, eh? I can't complain really. At least I'm alive and I don't have to pay rent for the time being. This is all such a big deptarture from my "old life." Either way I look at it -- there's no turning back. It'll all work out. I HAVE TO MAKE IT WORK OUT.

This is TRULY it!

Moving On

This weekend was pretty much the start of me FINALLY getting myself in the direction of a positive change in my life. As of today-ish, it is officially the beginning of the 7-month mark since I quit my job at JetBlue. In the meantime, I've pretty much done a whole lot of "nothing", yet seemingly "everything" depending on your point of view. The results of which have amounted to me just turning 38 years old, barely surviving on a part-time job, spending all of my savings, and finally succombing to moving back to my parents' home in the suburbs because of my inability to afford rent! Oh yeah -- let's not forget the sprinklings of "friends" issues that I seem to get myself tangled into here and there [Let me gather my thoughts on that for a later posting ...].

Wow. You can only ask yourself, "Where to from here?" I'm not sure if this is actually rock bottom for me, but the these changes that I talk about basically involve moving and finding a new career! If only it were that easy ... to make a blog entry that made any sense! LOL. This is a thought that is definitely to be continued ...

Losing touch.

It's so easy to get "wrapped up" in things. For some, devoting attention to one thing could be a result of avoiding another. In the scheme of things more recent to me, I'm definitely guilty of that! In the past few months, I've lost touch with a lot of things. Family -- friends -- MYSELF, really. I've been definitely going through a lot of things from the last time I've made a blog posting. There's a (sketchy) saying I've heard going around, "Without going through it, you'll never get to the other side." Hmmm -- words of wisdom or pure non-sense? Hell if I know! I'll just go back to MySpace! LOL.
