in this world of partybois et. al. you come across a certain and very distinct vernacular. SKETCH doesn't necessarily mean a 'rough drawing' of any sort. a QUARTER isn't necessarily a US 25-cent coin. And CRACKIN' certainly doesn't refer to 'the breaking down into smaller molecules'. well, hmm, other things could be breaking down, but we won't go into that right now ...

the word(s) for today: GOING THRU IT

i had to think about this for a bit. what is 'IT'? going through some *changes* maybe? going through a wide range of *emotions* perhaps? whatever it is -- you're going through *SOMETHING*!!! call me lucky, but i have come across more people GOING THRU IT than i ever expected or needed to this past week - myself included. we all know what causes these *things* so i will not elaborate. just keep in mind -- when you come across anyone GOING THRU IT -- don't take it literally. give them space. let them vent. give them a blank stare, apply zero emotion to it and play along! it's all good. they're really not crazy or over the edge ... just yet. THAT'LL HAPPEN NEXT WEEK! ;-)
