I was going to write a little story of shenanigans that I got myself into last week, but I decided to hold off on that for now. Needless to say it rated somewhere near the SKETCHFACTOR 9.9 level. It's amazing how much crazy shit you find yourself into in this whole little *party* scene DC has. A DRAMA-dy indeed!

Onto other news -- I just got this job offer for a work transfer to Salt Lake City. This is something that totally hit me upside the head in total surprise as I kind of brushed off the 2 phone interviews I had for it. After finding out that it was offering me $10K less than what I'm making now plus no relocation assistance, the answer was obvious. After a call this morning, an offer was handed to me. It was still or less than what I am making now (now down to $6K less) and a relocation offer was added in as well! Hmmm. All of this and they haven't seen me in person yet. Do I give up my fabulous popularity (not!) in DC's sketchy glitterati or do I start all over in the Mormon capital of the world?!?

every week it seems that i'm going deeper and deeper in this *party* thing. this weekend was no exception. my friend jay came down from new york. we did the normal party thing on friday ... APEX. we did the normal party thing on saturday ... VELVET NATION. this time, i uppped it a notch on sunday ... we drove up to new york to attend ALEGRIA. wow - talk about excess! the party was scheduled to go from 11pm to 4pm the next day. mind you -- i only made it to about 11:30am on monday. i won't comment how i wasn't able to report to work that morning either. it was FUN, FUN, FUN tho! most of the dc crew was there. there was even a perch up above in the VIP areas that us dc folks made claim to. sorry -- no SKETCH pics. lol.
