BACKTRACK -- this was for FRIDAY. went down to Long Beach / LA to visit my friend Mike and to go to Gay Days at Magic Mountain. a bunch of screaming queens on coasters sounds fun, right? it was albeit a little ghetto. i felt really old with all those teens hanging around. hey -- at least they're out and about and PROUD to be themselves. the fist ride was something called X -- lies -- i've never ridden anything like that in my life!

monday. the day after folsom street fair. lies -- i was the biggest m-e-s-s! no details -- just lot's of alcohol, "brownies", and "rice crispy treats" sold on the streets of san francisco. i think i made out with a friend as well. had a blast but i've got some explaining to do...

still in a bad mood these days. for some reason -- the first encounters i have with people at work (mostly customers) tend be sooooo confrontational. i just get worked up with people who are generally wrong in the first place. but being in the customer service industry you just have to grin and bear it mostly and just take it all in. urgh -- it totally sucks!

i'm getting ready to fly to new york on monday. i was thinking of flying in on the saturday night red-eye, but it seems that i'm needed to beat work on sunday.

i've been the biggest *bitch* lately! really short tempered for some reason. i dunno -- i think i'm getting too 'complacent' with the job. i need to be traveling again. luving the the fact that i'm at home in oakland, but i've gotten used to being on the road. it's been a few months already!!!

today i finally got my airport badge for the oakland airport. i figured that since i've been there for almost the past 2 months, i should at least try to be official, right?

i have the day off tomorrow -- i have to be productive. go to the gym? hmm.

the birthday's come and gone. i'm 35. wow. what more can i say? what do i need to say? it's just a state of mind i guess.

labor day partying came and gone as well. had a blast. sketch factor 10+.


today -- went shopping. i spent the MOST ever on a pair of jeans. something like $108 at the gap, even!!! meanwhile -- they fit REALLLLLL good. :-) the 1969 collection. my new favorite label!
