long time no write! now in long beach -- gotta catch up soon.

i'm just blabbing away -- it's amazing what rest and sleep does to you after being awake for about 60 + hours.

met up with a lot of new and old people this weekend. went out clubbing 2 nites. went to 2 after hours parties. went to 1 after-after hours party. danced my ass off! yes, i am SUPERMAN. uh, maybe not.

a lot of the old JR's gang were out in full force. nic nic with his big ol' smile. dj mike with his crazy dance walk. stacy being a big ol' happy boy. keith being KEITH and of course my sister in crime, tony, was out and about with me too!

new acquantances: KELLY -- fun guy; loved to observe and was highly amused by all of the FREAKS out and about. RAY -- really nice guy and what a cutie too!

sort of heard at an after-hours party last week (with some ad-libs thrown in) ... here's my version:

SKETCHED OUT BOY (ON THE COUCH) #1: "You like my new BUMPER phone?"

SKETCHED OUT BOY (ACROSS THE ROOM SPRAWLED OUT ON THE FLOOR) #2: "Uh, yeah."

SKETCHED OUT BOY (IN THE OTHER CORNER STARING AT EVERYONE) #3: "Oh, you must have sprint's new TINA plan. Unlimited TINA minutes all the time."

SKETCHED OUT BOY #2: "That must come out with ROLLOVER minutes too!"

my 'partying' this past month has been the most interesting and intense EVER in my life. i'm a grown man just about to turn 35 and its just like i'm a kid in a candy store with all of these fun 'treats' available with a *snap* of a finger. back in the early - mid 90's i considered myself a club kid of sorts going out just about everyday of the week and dancing and hanging out with friends. i prided myself on how i would be able to go out and have fun without getting drunk! alcohol wasn't really a big part of my life until i got older. but even then, i never EVER got 'messy' drunk (NOT cute by the way). heaven forbid i ever did drugs either!!! fast forward to the summer of 2003 ... big MESS! a fun mess, though. :-)

my friends were always a big and positive part of my life. i can seriously say to anyone that i have never encountered anyone literally negative or bad that i have ever considered to be a 'friend'. with that said and done -- whatever direction the my life turns (bad or good; happy or sad; postive or negative; sketchy or not-so-sketchy) it's all ME and ME ALONE!

really need to get myself on the ball with keeping these posts up to date. a lot of fun and interesting things have been happening around me lately and i just end up forgetting about them.
